The diesel engine turns a generator, converting diesel energy into electricity. In the diesel engine cylinder, the clean air filtered by the air filter and the high pressure atomized diesel spray nozzle is fully mixed, under the extrusion of the piston, the volume shrinks, the temperature rises rapidly, and the ignition point of diesel is reached. Diesel is ignited, the mixture of gas burning violently, the volume of rapid expansion, push the piston down, called 'work'. Each cylinder works in a certain order, and the thrust force acting on the piston becomes the force driving the crankshaft rotation through the connecting rod, thus driving the crankshaft rotation. If the brushless synchronous alternator is installed coaxial with the crankshaft of the diesel engine, the rotation of the diesel engine can be used to drive the rotor of the generator. By using the principle of "electromagnetic induction", the generator will output the induced electromotive force, and the closed load loop can generate current.
Characteristics and uses of diesel generator sets
- As a backup AC power supply equipment, the diesel generator set is a small and medium-sized independent power generation equipment. Compared with other power generation equipment, the diesel generator set has the characteristics of compact structure, small occupation area, high thermal efficiency, rapid start-up, flexible control and convenient fuel storage.
- The diesel generator set is required to be able to supply power independently, as an important emergency standby power supply for power and lighting. The power supply has high reliability requirements. It does not allow power failure or requires quick power supply within a few seconds. It can be used as an emergency backup power supply to quickly provide stable AC power in case of power failure.
Daily technical maintenance of diesel generator set
Diesel engine in the daily use of the process should pay attention to maintenance, according to the detailed maintenance process can be divided into four levels of maintenance.
Class A maintenance
Set A Date: ensure daily maintenance during use. Check the diesel generator daily and make a note of it. Check the oil level and coolant level of the diesel generator. Daily check the diesel generator team for damage, leakage, leakage, wear and tear of Belt.
Weekly: First, repeat the Tingri County Level 1 diesel generator check. Check air filter, clean or replace air filter cores. Then empty the fuel tank and clean the Fuel filter of water or sediment. Check the water filter and start the battery, and check the front and back end of the cooler heat sink and wash with water.
Class B maintenance
To ensure that on the basis of first-level maintenance, replace oil (250 hours or once a month) , oil filter (250 hours or once a month) , replace and check coolant (water filter replacement cycle 250-300 hours, add coolant DCA into the cooling system) , and replace air filter (air filter replacement cycle 500-600 hours) .
Class C maintenance
1. Replace the diesel filter, oil filter, water filter, water and oil in the water tank.
2.Adjust the fan belt tightness.
Check the supercharger.
4. Disassemble, inspect and clean oil pump and actuator.
5. Remove rocker housing cover and check t-plate, valve guide and inlet and exhaust valves.
6.adjust the nozzle lift; adjust the valve clearance.
7.Check the charging generator.
8.Check the radiator and clean the external radiator.
9. Add treasure to the water tank and clean the inside of the tank.
10.Check the diesel engine sensors and connecting wires.
11.Check the diesel instrument case.
Class D maintenance
1. Replace oil, diesel, bypass, water filter, oil and engine circulating water.
2.Clean or replace air filter. Remove rocker chamber cover, check Valve Guide, t-plate.
3.Check and adjust the valve clearance. Replace upper and lower cushion of rocker arm room. Check fan and bracket and adjust belt. Check the supercharger.
4.Check the electrical wiring of the diesel generator. Check the excitation part of the motor circuit. And connecting the circuit in the measuring instrument box.
5. Check the water tank and external cleaning. Repair or replace water pumps. Check the wear of the main bearing bush and connecting rod bush.
6. Check or adjust the working condition of electronic speed regulation. Press the grease against the diesel generator point.
Aim at the excitation part of the diesel generator to remove dust.
8. Check the axial and radial clearance of supercharger, if oversize, it should be repaired in time.
9. Clean and calibrate injectors and fuel pumps regularly
